SOUTH FALLSBURG – Rolling V Bus Corporation is proud to announce Executive Vice President Nicholas Vallone was elected President of the New York School Bus Contractors Association (NYSBCA).
Vallone, who previously served as the Vice President of the NYSBCA in 2020, was elected President at the association’s annual conference held at the TWA Hotel in Queens, NY this October. The appointment comes at a difficult time for an industry facing severe employment shortages. Vallone says he is up for the challenge.
“I am truly honored to have been elected President of the NYSBCA,” said Vallone. “I have been part of the organization for 7 years and am looking forward to continuing to make a positive impact in student transportation services through out New York State.”
Since 1950, the NYSBCA has served as the voice of school bus contractors on issues of common interest at the state capital and beyond. The association is comprised of nearly 100 school transportation companies who deploy over 60,000 buses daily with the mission of promoting safe, reliable and cost-effective student transportation in New York State.
“Nicholas is a strong advocate for school bus contractors and his community,” said Tammy Mortier, Executive Director of NYSBCA. “His dedication to the organization is admirable, and we know that he will continue to do great things for our organization in his new role as Board President.”
